Meet Max, a shining star who's overcome incredible obstacles! At just 2 years old, he and his BFF Ruby were rescued from Animal Care Services in San Antonio, TX, where they only had each other. But Max's resilience and strength have carried him through dual eye entropion surgery and heartworm treatment, and he's emerged stronger than ever! His eye fur is growing back, and so is his confidence! After acing his veterinary checkup, Max is now a playful goofball who totes his toys around like precious treasures and plays tag with Ruby. Max weighs around 45 pounds. He's crate-trained, potty-trained, and trusted to roam free in his foster home, where he snuggles up at your feet like he's always been there.
