Prince
Collie / Shepherd / Mixed · Adult · Male · Large · Farmersville, TX
Notes from Hillcrest Animal Rescue
This handsome boy needs a very special person in his life, as he struggles to trust many humans. Prince might like someone immediately, but it is rare. He did not like his foster mom at all initially, but now he is loving and adoring of her. He is an outgoing and fun dog once he chooses to trust someone; otherwise, he makes it clear that he prefers to be left alone. Prince lives with many other dogs and is exceptionally playful with the smaller dogs in his home. He has not been cat tested, but ignores the cats in their catio in his foster home. He has learned to accept and walk on a leash and even enjoys going for walks now. He is house-trained and has good house manners, which is excellent because he hates being in a crate. He needs a home with minimal people coming and going, and/or a place where he can be away from those who do not live with him, and where there are no young children. His perfect home would be with his human, and how many other dogs his human would like to have live with them. Prince is fully vetted, current with vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and on flea and tick, as well as heartworm, prevention.
