Notes from Rockwall Animal Adoption Center

Meet Dixie! At just 6 months old, this beautiful 45-pound Flat Coated Retriever and Great Pyrenees mix has already spent 90 days waiting for someone to choose her. As of 10/22/26, officially a Diamond Dog, her adoption fee is just $75! Curious, playful, and full of puppy charm, Dixie is ready to trade shelter life for backyard adventures and a family to grow up with! Dixie does well with other dogs, making her a wonderful candidate for a home with a canine companion. Her compatibility with cats is currently unknown, and because of her size and enthusiastic puppy energy, children ages 8 and older are recommended. Dixie will thrive with a family committed to continued training, patience, and socialization. She's spayed, microchipped, and has received age-appropriate boosters and deworming. Dixie has already spent 90 days growing up in a shelter. Let's make sure the rest of her puppyhood is spent growing up loved!
