~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later. Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~

Health: Lolly was successfully treated for heartworms! ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam *****

Temperament: Lolly is a lovely little girl, approximately 5–6 years old and weighing about 12 pounds. She would love nothing more than to be by her person’s side, but she will need time, patience, and understanding to feel safe.

Lolly is very fearful and may hide or try to run until she learns to trust you. It is believed that she experienced abuse earlier in life, so a secure home and gentle approach are essential. Once Lolly gives you her trust, she blossoms into a happy, affectionate companion who will share her beautiful smiles and enjoy leisurely adventures by your side.

Lolly loves stroller rides, getting dressed up, playing with toys, and enjoying treats—especially cheese! She is interested in well-mannered children and dogs. Lolly’s ideal home would be without men, where she can feel comfortable and continue building confidence at her own pace.

Lolly may take time, but earning her trust will be incredibly rewarding. She is ready to find the patient, loving person who will show her how wonderful life can be. --

Where did she come from: She was a stray who was sadly never claimed.
