Lainey - $75 Adoption Fee! Diamond Dog!

Meet Lainey! As of 10/19/26, Lainey has spent 111 days in our care, earning her place as one of Rockwall Adoption Center's Diamond Dogs. This sweet girl has been waiting far too long for someone to see just how special she is. Lainey's story has not been an easy one. She was surrendered when her previous owner was no longer able to care for her, and now this approximately 2 year old Husky mix weighing around 45 pounds is ready for a fresh start with a family who will give her the patience and security she deserves. Lainey can be shy when she first meets someone, but underneath that uncertainty is a very sweet girl who begins to shine once she feels safe. She is still learning how to navigate the world with confidence and would do best with an experienced dog owner who can provide consistency, structure, guidance, and plenty of positive reinforcement as she continues learning how to simply be a dog. Continued leash training will help Lainey build confidence and become the best version of herself. She does well with other dogs and cats but has not lived with children. If you currently have another pet in the home, a meet and greet is recommended prior to adoption to help ensure everyone is a good match. Lainey is spayed, microchipped, current on her basic annual boosters, and heartworm negative. As a Diamond Dog, Lainey's adoption fee is $75. Ninety days is a long time to wait for a home. Lainey may need a little extra patience in the beginning, but for the person willing to give her that chance, she has so much love and potential waiting to come out.
