Notes from Scout's Honor Rescue

This sweet girl is NOT giving up. Xena has amazed every single one of us with how hard she is fighting, and she is doing so incredibly well at Vergi. She is stable, soaking up all the love, and proving just how strong she truly is.

And the best news? Xena is officially ready to leave the hospital and head to a foster home! We got the call this morning and honestly…we are beyond thrilled. The fact that she is ready this soon truly feels incredible after everything she has been through.

Now all Xena needs is someone willing to open their heart and home to her while she continues healing

She is such a sweet girl who simply wants to be close to her person and feel safe and loved.

Please consider stepping up for this baby, she deserves so much love and a soft place to land after everything she has endured.

Interested in fostering Xena? We will help you every step of the way and provide anything you need! Please head to our website and fill out a foster application for this brave girl

What happens next

  1. Contact Scout's Honor Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Scout's Honor Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
