Notes from A Doggie 4 You
Meet Rock, a sweet and gentle boy who’s so ready for a second chance at life. Rock came to us from a partnered shelter where he was sadly at risk of euthanasia due to lack of space—but thankfully, he got the chance he deserved. He is the only pup from his group that is left to find his home.
Rock has a fun personality. He hasn't met anyone he doesn't like. He's very friendly, easygoing who gets along with everyone he meets. He does like to jump out of excitement. But he is very smart, who can easily learn new commands and basic training skills. He uses a doggy door, so we are unsure of how much potty training he has.
Rock did test positive for anaplasmosis (a tick-borne infection) and has finished undergoing treatment with doxycycline. This is a common and treatable condition, and he’s expected to do well with proper care. For more information, you can read here: https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=6191808
He is neutered, 4dx tested, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and current on proheart 12 and bravecto. So he’s all set to start his new journey. His adoption fee is $300. Check out his video below!
To apply, please visit www.adoggie4you.org and complete an application.
Rock is currently in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and locations along the East Coast.
