Notes from Central Texas Dachshund Rescue

Meet Peanut! This handsome one year old boy was taken to a local shelter by his finder after he had been hit by a car. Due to the injuries Peanut had, he was released to CTDR early knowing that we would get him the help he needs. Peanut has now recovered from all of his injuries and is ready to find his forever home.

Peanut is a friendly, loving, happy-go-lucky little boy! He loves to play, sunbathe in the yard, and wants to be friends with every dog he sees. He behaves well in a pen when he's home alone and wants to share the love with his family whenever he can.
