Notes from Animal Shelter Volunteers of Texas

Hi! My name is Abby. I'm a 2 year old, spayed Labrador Retriever/Terrier mix. I like to have a good time, running around and chasing critters. I get along with my foster mom's dogs but sometimes they get tired of my playfulness. Mom is teaching me good manners. I'm ready to go to my forever home.

Please complete an adoption application at www. ASVTexas.org > Adoption > Application. That's the only way we can meet and fall in love.

What happens next

  1. Contact Animal Shelter Volunteers of Texas using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Animal Shelter Volunteers of Texas, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
