Notes from Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue
Meet Volt!
Volt is a sweet, playful boy who is still gaining confidence and settling into the good life. He can be a little skittish at first, but once he feels comfortable, his affectionate personality really starts to shine. He loves being around his people and enjoys spending time with his foster family.
Volt plays wonderfully with other dogs and will need a home with another well balanced, confident dog who can help him continue building confidence and learning the ropes. Having a canine companion to play with and learn from will be important for his adjustment. He has not been around children, so we aren’t sure how he would do with them.
Volt has done great with potty habits in his foster home and hasn’t had any accidents, although he currently has access to a doggie door. He also does well in a crate. He hasn’t had much leash experience yet, so his new family will need to help him learn.
Volt loves his food and can get a little overly excited at mealtime, but he’s already learning to wait his turn with gentle reminders.
Volt is a sweetheart with a fun, playful personality. He just needs a patient family and a confident canine friend to help him continue coming out of his shell. With a little time, consistency, and love, he will make a wonderful companion!
