Notes from Richardson Rescue

Hi, my name is Tara, and I’m a sweet 7-year-old girl looking for a forever home to call my own. My owner became sick and boarded me while she was in the hospital. Sadly, she never came back for me. Now, I’m hoping someone will open their heart and give me the second chance I deserve. I may be a little older, but I still have so much love to give! Every dog deserves a family to love them forever, and I’m dreaming that my family is out there waiting for me. Could it be you? Visit richardsonrescue.org to learn more about adoption.

What happens next

  1. Contact Richardson Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Richardson Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
