Notes from Libby and Mace's Place

If resilience had a face, it would be Godiva’s.

At just a year and a half old, this 30-pound sweetheart has already overcome more than any dog should. Godiva was found taped inside a box, severely emaciated and suffering from painful skin issues. Despite everything she’s been through, she has never stopped loving people. Thanks to lots of care, good food and even more love, she’s gained the weight she needed, her skin has healed and her beautiful coat is growing back.

Today, Godiva is exactly what everyone hopes for in a companion. She’s a total love bug who wants nothing more than to be by your side. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch, heading out for a walk or spending time with family, she’s happy as long as she’s with her people.

Godiva is:

About 1.5 years old

30 pounds

Spayed

Heartworm negative

Up to date on vaccines

Dog friendly

Cat friendly

Leash, potty and crate trained

Godiva has survived the worst that humans could do to her, yet she greets the world with a gentle heart and endless affection. Now all she needs is the forever family she has always deserved.

Adoption fee: $300
