Notes from Centre County Paws

Meet Lobo and Lyra, the cutest duo!

Lobo and Lyra are a bonded pair of Huskies who must be adopted together!

Lyra is a sweet 6-year-old who can be shy at first, while 5-year-old Lobo is the outgoing social butterfly who loves meeting new people. Together, they bring out the best in each other, with Lobo helping Lyra feel confident and Lyra bringing out Lobo's softer side.

They are both house-trained, enjoy the company of other friendly dogs, and would do well with respectful children ages 9 and up who understand that Lyra may need some time to warm up. They would prefer a home without cats and love going for walks, exploring outdoors, and relaxing together with their people. If you are ready for double the Husky fun and double the love, Lyra and Lobo may be the perfect pair for you!

If these two have stolen your heart, please apply to adopt Lyra and Lobo together or reach out to us at dogs@centrecountypaws.org with any questions!

What happens next

  1. Contact Centre County Paws using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Centre County Paws, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
