Notes from Paws Across Pittsburgh

Meet Vera! Vera is a 7-year-old, 7-pound Yorkie Poodle mix with a whole lot of personality packed into her tiny little body. Her foster says she's a very sweet, easy dog who loves people and gets along great with other dogs. She's just happy to be around everyone and is a little bundle of joy. Vera is settling into her foster home and doing great. She's working on her potty training and is already making good progress. She uses pee pads indoors and is learning that outside is the place to go, too. She's a smart little girl who is catching on with consistency and patience. She also does well on a leash. She likes to wander and may pull a little when something catches her attention, but she's very easy to redirect. We aren't sure how Vera would do with cats or small children, but she has been nothing but friendly with the people and dogs she's met so far. At just 7 pounds, Vera is the perfect little sidekick. Whether she's following you around the house, curling up beside you, or making new friends, she's simply happy to be part of the moment. Vera is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccinations. She's ready to find the family she's been waiting for. Think Vera might be your girl?
