When on leash he does jump and bark at those dogs, but unleashed he loves to play with them. His reward in life is attention and he prefers that over treats. He is good with people in wheelchairs too. He loves running laps in a big area so a fenced yard is needed. He is house trained and crate trained. He would be good with bigger kids so he doesn’t accidentally knock small kids over. He needs a family that can be active with him and willing to have a horse sit on their laps. He likes looking people in the face but is not a face-licker. He is well behaved for grooming. Georgie was trained at FIDOS SCI Coal Township and knows the following: Heel Other Side Leave it Look at me Sit Wait Down Come

What happens next

  1. Contact Mommy & me rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Mommy & me rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
