Meet Albie! Hi there! My name is Albie. I’m 8 years young, 53 pounds, and full of charm. I’m a handsome black-and-white Boxer/Bulldog/Terrier mix with the cutest bouncy walk that will make you smile every time I head your way. Fun fact about me: "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain was originally written with me in mind. "The strands in your eyes that color them wonderful stop me and steal my breath...I'll be your crying shoulder.... I"ll be the greatest fan of your life." Think about it...my eyes are beautiful and unique. I'll Be = ALBIE = your crying shoulderI'll Be = ALBIE = the greatest fan of your lifeYou should know that I happen to be partially blind. My eyesight isn't perfect, but don’t let that fool you. I get around great and love running and playing in the yard with my medium-sized dog friends. I’m proof that a little visual impairment doesn’t have to slow down a happy guy like me! I do need daily eyedrops to keep my eyes cared for, so my forever family should be comfortable with that part of my routine. I’m a big fan of stuffies, too. My favorite thing is carrying my toys around in my mouth like my own little treasures. You know what else I treasure? A cozy spot on the couch or on your lap. Quality snuggle time is the greatest - I love to lay next to you with my head in your lap. I'm partway potty trained - I go outside a lot, but sometimes I go inside if you don't take me out often enough. I’m looking for a family who will appreciate my adorable bounce, celebrate my happy spirit, and make sure I have a soft place to land at the end of the day. I'd prefer a fenced in yard and another medium sized dog in the home. If you don't have a fenced in yard, please be willing to use a stake and long lead with me. I'm a sweet, joyful boy ready to find his forever home and fill it with stuffies, snuggles, and lots of love. It's safe to say that I'll be ("Albie") the greatest fan of your life.
