LAP DOG ALERT!
Hi, I am Ginger, a beautiful 3-year-old yellow Lab mix with a heart overflowing with love! I have the softest, most gorgeous fur coat and a sweet, easygoing personality that makes it hard not to fall in love with me. I’m a happy girl with a positive outlook on life, and I absolutely LOVE people! I get along well with other dogs, too. Give me belly rubs, a little affection, and a cozy lap to snuggle on, and I’m in heaven! My sweet, gentle nature has a way of drawing people to me, and I wouldn’t have it any other way because I love everyone. All I want is to share my love with someone who will see how special I am and let me be a part of their world.
For over a year, I lived in a rural Kentucky shelter where adoptions were few and far between. Every day was so sad and boring. Thankfully, there were kind, caring ladies who visited us and showed us love and advocated for a rescue for us. Without them, many of us might never have had the chance to feel fresh air or enjoy a little kindness beyond our kennel walls. It was a sad place, and I dreamed of the day my life would finally change. And then, my miracle happened! LaMancha said YES to me and a wonderful foster home in Kentucky opened their heart to me while I waited for my journey to Pennsylvania. I fit right in with my foster family’s three little dogs, was wonderful with the kids, and made friends with everyone I met. I even learned some new tricks, including “sit” and “down,” and I’m housebroken too!
I’m ready for my next chapter. I have so much love to give, and I’m ready to spend the rest of my life showing you just how special a girl like me can be.
