Notes from Columbia Humane Society

Meet Kress! Kress is a medium-sized mixed-breed pup who has come a long way. He was found as a stray, emaciated and in need of some serious TLC. Thanks to the care he’s received, Kress is now at a healthy weight and ready to find the loving home he deserves. Having grown up at the shelter, Kress is still learning what it means to be a house dog. He’ll need a patient family willing to help him learn his house manners, but he’s very food motivated and eager to learn—so training can be a fun way to build his confidence and bond with his people. Kress is also working on feeling more comfortable around other dogs. He does best with calm, respectful canine friends who can give him the space and confidence he needs to feel secure. After everything he’s been through, Kress deserves a chance to experience the best part of life: a safe, loving home of his own. If you’re looking for a sweet pup who is ready to learn, grow, and become your best friend, Kress may be the one for you.
