Notes from Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division

Sugar is a sweet, affectionate Pitbull terrier mix who’s ready to find her forever home. Approximately one year old, this spayed girl is already up to date on her vaccines and available for adoption through Oklahoma City Animal Welfare for a fee of no more than $60.True to her name, Sugar is “sweet as sugar.” She loves treats, giving kisses, and spending time with other dogs. She’s learned some useful manners—she knows “kennel please” and “sit”—and while she’s still working on full potty training, she can already hold her bladder for 4–6 hours while in the kennel during work hours and bedtime. She’s dog-friendly but has not yet been tested with cats or children; small kids may feel a bit overwhelming for her at first due to the loud noises. With her playful energy, affectionate personality, and eager-to-please attitude, Sugar is looking for a patient, loving home where she can continue learning and settle in as a cherished family member. ??
