Notes from Paws and Prayers

Introducing Truffles. This sweet 3-year-old Wirehaired Terrier mix is a professional lap warmer with a heart full of love! She's calm, crate trained, and gets along well with other dogs, but let's be real, her favorite place is curled up with her humans, soaking up all the cuddles she can get! She's new to the rescue, so we're still getting to know her. She may need some housetraining or a refresher course as she settles into her new home. A little patience and consistency will go a long way. She came into our care with some hair loss due to a lack of proper care, but she's recovering beautifully and looking better every day. Truffles’ adoption fee is $400.00 Please complete a non-obligatory application at www.pawsandprayers.org

All Paws and Prayers animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (age appropriate) and are given monthly flea/heartworm prevention. Adoption fees also include the pet's spay/neuter and microchipping.

Inquiries submitted through Petfinder or other third-party websites do not submit as applications in our database.

What happens next

  1. Contact Paws and Prayers using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Paws and Prayers, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
