Notes from Adopt A Pit Rescue Inc

Hi, I’m Pippi Longstocking, a 5-month-old little lady who is mostly Jack Russell Terrier weighing about 10 pounds. And while I may be small, I’ve got plenty of personality packed into this tiny body! ❤️ I’m a girl who likes to take things at my own pace. Like many small dogs, I believe in slow introductions when meeting new friends. Once I’m comfortable, I do well with other dogs and am perfectly happy giving them their space.

But my people? Oh, I LOVE my people. I’m happiest when I’m near my humans and getting all the love and attention I can soak up.

And then there are the ZOOMIES! Every once in a while, all that puppy energy has to come flying out, and when it does, watch out! I’ll race around, have some fun, and then settle back down like nothing happened.

I’m sweet, smart, spunky, and full of puppy personality. I’m looking for a family who will give me patience while I get comfortable, introduce me to new friends slowly, and then love me for all the quirky, adorable little things that make me Pippi. I may only be 10 pounds right now, but I have a feeling I’m going to take up a very big piece of your heart.
