Notes from Adopt A Pit Rescue Inc

MEET MARKIE — 8 POUNDS OF PURE, PRANCING CHARM!

5 years old. 8 pounds. One tiny white pony with a big personality.

Have you ever dreamed about the perfect white pony—but without the feed bill and at a fraction of the size? If so, Markie hits the mark! Although he can’t pull a carriage, he can certainly pull off Mr. Charming.

This little Maltipoo is proof that you don’t need to be big to make a grand entrance!

A LITTLE ABOUT MARKIE:

A real-life My Little Pony! Markie lives to rear up and do a little dance. Naturally, we sing the My Little Pony theme song while he shows off his signature moves!

Playtime enthusiast! He loves to wrestle, play, and keep everyone entertained with his silly, spirited personality.

Leisurely flower sniffer! Markie enjoys taking his time on walks, sniffing the flowers, exploring his surroundings, and appreciating the finer things in life.

A working little man! Markie enjoys having a job and takes his responsibilities seriously—especially when it comes to reminding everyone that he is still a dog when it comes to his territory.

No one comes around unnoticed! Markie considers himself head of security. Nothing happens on his watch, and no visitor arrives without being properly announced.

Social butterfly! Markie enjoys walks and playing with other dogs. He is social and would love having another dog to snuggle with in his forever home.

✨ MARKIE’S PERSONALITY & NEEDS ✨

Maltipoo charm in a tiny package Loves to rear up and dance Enjoys wrestling and playing Loves walks and sniffing flowers Social with other dogs Would enjoy a canine companion Protective of his territory Non-shedding breed Requires regular grooming to prevent matting

Tiny body, BIG range of emotions! Markie will need a firm, confident leader who can provide structure, clear boundaries, and consistent guidance. He is not shy about letting people know that all eight pounds of him can Jekyll-and-Hyde his way from prancing pony to white devil when he feels the need to defend his territory!

His new family will need to understand that his adorable size does not mean he should be allowed to make all the decisions. With the right leadership, Markie can be a charming, playful, affectionate companion.

✂️ GROOMING IS A MUST! Because Markie is a non-shedding breed, his coat will mat without regular brushing and professional grooming. His new family will need to stay committed to maintaining his coat and keeping him comfortable, healthy, and looking his best.

AND THE SUPPORT DOESN’T END WHEN HE GOES HOME!
