Notes from Adopt A Pit Rescue Inc

We are totally foster home based & all of our foster homes have been packed for months but when we heard about an emaciated dog who was found locked in a crate full of urine & poop on the side of the road we could not say no. That is how we got Stallone. He was pitiful but he had soulful eyes & a beautiful face so we thought naming him after the Italian Stallion would be perfect!! What could be more perfect for a gorgeous cane corso?? They are all so graceful. We got it completely wrong. Stallone is gorgeous. Petting him is like petting a soft baby bunny. However, he did not get one iota of grace from his namesake. Watching him walk ( or God forbid run) is like watching a drunk baby deer on ice. We’ve never seen anything like it. He jumps & falls. He crashes into things. When he is running the brakes don’t work at all. It’s like watching a car wreck in slow motion. What he lacks in grace he makes up for with a very sweet, puppy like personality! He LOVES dogs! He will do anything for treats ( including awkward bunny hops) and loves toys! Stallone is a very sweet boy & he is ready for his forever home! Apply to adopt him today!!
