Notes from Danielle's Animal Safe Haven

Introducing Roxy! Roxy came to DASH from Rural Kentucky. This little miniature Pomeranian, is full of spunk and sass, but is also a sweet love bug. She was surrendered for being an excessive barker, but in her time in her foster home, her foster mom has not observed that other than when she needs to go out to potty. She is crate trained, but not crated currently, potty trained and walks well on a leash. She enjoys being able to go out into the fenced in back yard at her foster home to explore and potty and would love to have a fenced in area in her new home, if possible, to be able to continue to do that. She does love going for a walk and will spin around and around when she realizes it's walk time. She gets along with dogs her size, but is a little stand offish with them at first. She would do fine with or without another dog in her new home. She is also very independent and will go and hang out in a room by herself. Roxy will allow you to pick her up, but she prefers her person to go slow and do more of a scoop than a pick up with both hands. She does not like young children, but older (10+) respectful children should be fine with proper introductions. She has not been cat tested. This girl is really ready to find per forever person who will shower her with affection and love and maybe even take her on adventures with them.
