Notes from Danielle's Animal Safe Haven

Meet Mabel. Mabel is a young girl who is a Labrador mix. She is a very affectionate girl who gets attached to her person quite easily. Mabel is currently in the DASH prison program where she is working on becoming the best girl for her future family. She is housetrained, walks well on a leash, and working on learning basic manners. Mabel is currently working on her separation anxiety as she is very attached to her person and will bark in crate until they return. Loud noises also makes her anxious and is also working on this at her current placement. She enjoys playing with toys, loves to get all the attention she can get and paying with other dogs. Due to her current placement she has not been introduced to cats or to children of any age so proper introductions are needed for both. If you think you have room in your family for Mabel then apply today! (FTA: Mabel is a part of our Foster-to-Adopt program. If you are interested in bringing Mabel home to test how she would acclimate to your environment, apply today!)
