Notes from Animal Care Sanctuary
👑 A DUKE WITHOUT A CASTLE? SIMPLY UNACCEPTABLE! 👑 Hello, lovely people! I’m Duke, a 7-year-old Australian Shepherd with gentle manners, a soft heart, and a royal weakness for butt scratches. 🐾 I might be a little shy at first, but give me a few minutes to get acquainted. My tail even wags when I hear my name without looking at you. That’s right—my affection has an automatic setting! 💙 I also LOVE tennis balls. 🎾 Some royals collect diamonds. Mine are fuzzy, orange and green, and occasionally roll under the couch. My foster parents say I’m a wonderful houseguest! No accidents, no redecorating with my teeth, and I settle nicely while you cook or clean. 🏅 I’m happy to supervise from a comfortable spot. Someone has to maintain standards around here! 🛋️ Treat puzzles, lick mats, and treat-filled balls are among my favorite activities. 🧩🦴 You supply the snacks; I supply the royal brainpower. 🌳 The world outside can feel a little overwhelming. When I see people or dogs on walks, I may bark, pull hard, and need help settling down. I’m looking for a patient person who can comfortably handle me on leash and help me build confidence. 💕 🚗 I’m still finding my traveling manners, too. Turns, slower driving, and people or dogs outside can bring out some barking and whining. There’s room for improvement in my royal chauffeur reviews! At home, though, my schedule is simple: relax, enjoy your company, investigate the treat situation, and graciously accept affection. 👑🐾 Could your home be my forever castle? I’ll bring the love—you bring the tennis balls and butt scratches! 🏡🎾💙
