Notes from Rescue City
Meet Peach, the sweetest little addition to your family! This 2-month-old Shepherd/Terrier mix was rescued with her two sisters after they were dropped off at our partner shelter in Kentucky. Now she has a whole new life ahead of her! Peach is a loving, playful puppy who can learn to live with kids, other dogs, and cats with gentle introductions and guidance. At her young age, she’s ready to grow alongside a family who can give her the time, training, and love every puppy needs. Peach has been spayed, vetted, and has started her puppy vaccine series. Apply to adopt her at rescuecity.nyc/adopt.

What happens next
- Contact Rescue City using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
- They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
- Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Rescue City, never to AdoptNearby.
- Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
