Notes from Humane Association of CNY

Meet Orie —Ready for a Fresh Start. Orie is a young Labrador/mix who’s already shown just how resilient and loving he can be. After being removed from a home with 21 dogs, he could have been unsure of the world; but instead, Orie greets it with trust and a gentle heart. He truly enjoys human company and is happiest when he’s near his people. He loves to go for walks. Once he’s out, he loves to sniff, explore, and take in everything around him at his own relaxed pace. Orie would do best in a home where someone is home most of the time. He does have some anxieties about being alone. We will provide his indestructible crate so that he can be safely crated and not escape it. He’s the kind of dog who doesn’t demand the spotlight; but once you notice him, you realize he’s exactly the companion you’ve been looking for. If you’re ready to give a sweet, adaptable pup the loving home he deserves, Orie is ready to meet you. For any questions or to set up a meet & greet, you can contact HumaneCNY at (315) 457-8762 or info@humanecny.org; or stop in Monday through Saturday 12 through 4:30; or you can begin the adoption process for Orie right now by filling out an application on our website, www.humanecny.org. Contact HumaneCNY if interested in this animal. You can fill out application to adopt at the shelter.
