Notes from Last Chance Animal Rescue

Meet Asher — Your Perfect Adventure Companion!

Asher has all the wonderful qualities German Shepherds are known for! He’s a gentleman who gets along with both cats and dogs and loves spending time with adults and kids ages 12 and up.

At the perfect age and size, Asher is past the troublesome puppy stage but still has plenty of energy for walks, adventures, and quality time with his people.

One of Asher’s best qualities? He’s amazing on a leash! Enjoy a relaxing walk with a companion who knows how to make the most of every step.

Asher would thrive in a quieter home without a lot of coming and going, where he can feel comfortable and settled. A fenced yard would be ideal, giving him a safe space to enjoy the outdoors.

Asher is currently staying with a loving foster family while he waits for his forever home.

What happens next

  1. Contact Last Chance Animal Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Last Chance Animal Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
