Notes from Hudson Paws Dog Rescue
Aggie is a beautiful 1½-year-old Staffy mix weighing approximately 48 pounds, with irresistible puppy eyes and a playful, affectionate personality. This happy-go-lucky girl has a way of lighting up a room with her quirky antics and enthusiasm for life! After being abandoned in New York City, Aggie was found by a kind woman out on a walk. Aggie approached her with confidence, a wagging tail, and a simple wish for affection. That encounter brought her to safety, and now she’s thriving in a loving foster home while she waits for a family of her own. Aggie is house-trained, knows “sit” and “down,” and is learning more basic commands in foster care. She’s showing off her lovely manners and enjoying the chance to learn and grow with people who care about her. Other dogs bring out Aggie’s excitement—she just wants to play! She gets along with most dogs, although her enthusiastic play style can become rough. She’ll need thoughtful introductions, compatible playmates, and gentle, consistent guidance to help her practice good play manners and take breaks when needed. Whether she’s making you laugh or soaking up your affection, Aggie brings so much joy to everyday moments. She’s looking for someone who will enjoy her playful spirit, continue her training, and give her all the love she so eagerly shares. Looking for a cheerful companion to trot through life beside you? Aggie could be your girl!
