Notes from Buffalo C.A.R.E.S. Animal Rescue

Derby is looking for a NEW home!!!

Derby is a 6-year-old male Lab/Pit/Boxer mix. He is energetic, playful, loving, and affectionate. He loves cuddles, playing, and spending time with his people. He has done great with older children.

Derby can be anxious, and since welcoming a 1-year-old into his home, he has struggled to adjust to having a her in the home. he needs a home without the unpredictability and activity that comes with having a young child.

FOR EVERYONE SAFETY AND WELL-BEING, DERBY NEEDS A CHILD-FREE HOME OR A HOME WITH OLDER CHILDREN.

He is an active boy who needs lots of exercise, attention, playtime, and affection. He would do best with someone who has the time and energy to keep him active and give him plenty of one-on-one attention.

We are not looking to simply give Derby away. We want to find him a responsible, loving forever home with someone who understands his needs and can give him the life he deserves.

If you think you could be the right fit for Derby, please reach out by emailing us at plavango@buffalocares.org ❤️
