Notes from Grandmas Barn Rescue and Sanctuary

MEET ZOE!

2 Years Old | Queensland Heeler | 50 lbs | Spayed | Vaccinated

Imagine raising your puppies, watching every single one find a loving home, and then finding yourself on the euthanasia list.

That was Zoe's story.

After all her puppies were adopted, Zoe was left behind at the Bakersfield shelter, where her time was running out. Thankfully, a wonderful foster stepped up, and Grandma's Barn Rescue & Sanctuary was able to give this beautiful girl the second chance she deserved. ❤️

And WOW, what a gem she turned out to be! ✨

Zoe is a 2-year-old Queensland Heeler with a BIG personality, a brilliant mind, and an even bigger heart!

She's the kind of dog who doesn't just want to live with you — she wants to be your shadow, your sidekick, and your very best friend.

Why Zoe is such a catch:

❤️ Dog-friendly! She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is comfortable being left at home with canine companions.

House-trained! She has excellent house manners.

Great off-leash! She enjoys her freedom and does beautifully off lead in her foster home.

☕ Coffee shop companion! Her foster has even been able to leave her safely secured outside cafés while grabbing a coffee.

Playful but balanced! Zoe has medium energy, loves to play, and is perfectly happy entertaining herself with a good chew toy.

Super smart! She's a classic clever Heeler with an entertaining personality that will keep you smiling.

Easy to live with! She's not a digger, excessive barker, or hunter.

But perhaps Zoe's very best quality is how much she loves being someone's companion. She wants to be included, to be near you, and to share life's everyday adventures.

Zoe has already watched her babies find their happily ever after. Now it's her turn. ❤️

She's healthy, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to find the forever family who will love her as much as she deserves.

Let's make sure this sweet mama never has to wonder if she's been forgotten again.
