Notes from Albuquerque Animal Services - Westside
Meet Neela! The Zoomies Are Waiting! Meet Neela, a young spayed Labrador Retriever Mix. Once she gets some space and feels more comfortable, Neela breaks out the zoomies and shows off her playful side. She’s also very sweet and affectionate, seeking out attention and happily soaking up pets from her people. And when treats are involved, she takes them gently because this girl has already mastered at least one important life skill! Neela was adopted briefly, but her adopters realized they weren’t quite prepared to handle an energetic puppy. The good news? They reported that Neela did well in the car and was good on leash! She’s still young, full of energy, and learning about the world, so she’ll need a family ready to help her channel all that puppy enthusiasm into becoming a well-mannered companion.
