Notes from Sierra County Humane Society

Well here you are, finally! I’ve been waiting all my life for you! Four whole months! Ha ha ha My name is Marie and I’m a lab mix puppy girl who is going to make her family very happy! I’m cute, fun, playful, happy, very affectionate, smart, and great with people and dogs alike. I have all my vaccinations, I’m spayed, plus I got a microchip too. I am so so so excited to be part of my furever family and I hope it happens today! Come meet me so we can fall in love. It’ll be easy, pinky swear! My adoption fee is $75. Let’s get the rest of our lives started. Love Marie

What happens next

  1. Contact Sierra County Humane Society using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Sierra County Humane Society, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
