Notes from Albuquerque Animal Services - Westside
Meet Ace – The Name of the Game Is Fun! Ace here! I’m a 1-year-old neutered Pointer mix weighing in at a handy 33 pounds. I may be young, but I’m already learning how to play my cards right! I’m a curious fellow who loves sniffing around and checking out all the latest neighborhood news. I enjoy playing with toys and chasing balls, but let’s get one thing straight: fetch is a team sport, and I’m only signing up for the chasing part! Bringing the ball back is an optional extra that I have not approved. I’m also a fan of tug-of-war, so if you’re looking for a worthy opponent, I’m ready to take you on! I’m friendly, gentle when taking treats, and walk pretty well on a leash. I’m also known to put my paws in your lap, just in case you need a little reminder that I’m right here and ready for attention. Treats are definitely one way to win me over and I'm very eager to learn! With patience, positive reinforcement, playtime, and plenty of love, I have all the potential to be a winning companion. Ready to have an Ace up your sleeve? Come meet me! I promise to bring the personality, the playtime, and the occasional paw in your lap. Just don't expect me to return your tennis ball!
