Notes from Albuquerque Animal Services - Westside

Meet Max – Your 40-Pound Adventure Buddy! Hi there! I’m Max, a 1-year-and-8-month-old neutered Australian Cattle Dog mix weighing 40 pounds. I’m the perfect size for adventures, outdoor fun, and making a wonderful new best friend! I was a little shy when I first arrived at the shelter, but I’m gaining confidence and learning to explore the world. I love sniffing around, discovering new things, and showing off my playful side with the occasional case of the zoomies! I’m a good walking buddy who does well on leash, and I even enjoy splashing around in a pool. I’ve also shown friendly interest in other dogs, so proper introductions can help determine if I’ve found a new furry friend. If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who enjoys outdoor adventures and is ready to keep growing in confidence, I might just be your Max match! Come meet me and let’s start our next adventure together!
