Notes from Albuquerque Animal Services - Westside

Sweet as a Daisy, Smart as a Whip! At just 1 1/2 years old and 45 pounds, Daisy is a petite mix who proves that you don’t need to be big to have a BIG personality! She’s sweet as a daisy, packed with energy, and ready to bring some fun—and probably a little bit of chaos—in the best possible way. Daisy is a treat-foraging expert who believes every outing should include a thorough investigation of the ground. You never know when someone may have dropped a snack, right? She’s extremely treat motivated and already knows sit, shake, stay, come, and leave it. She takes treats gently and walks beautifully on leash, so someone has clearly been putting in the work with this smart girl! When it comes to fun, Daisy enjoys toys, but her real favorites are people and other dogs. She’s playful, social, and loves having canine company. With her brains, manners, playful spirit, and affectionate personality, Daisy is pretty much the whole package—just in a cute, compact package. If you’re looking for a young dog who is smart, energetic, affectionate, dog-friendly, and already has a great foundation of training, Daisy may be ready to bloom in your home!
