Notes from Mountainair Animal Control Shelter

Hi there! I'm Mishka, and I have a confession to make... I'm not very good at being a Husky...You know all those things you've heard about Huskies? The howling, the escaping, the stubbornness, the destruction? I must have missed that part of Husky school! Let me tell you a little about myself! I'm QUIET! Yep, a quiet Husky. We exist! I'm not an escape artist! I don't feel the need to take myself on unauthorized adventures. I come when called! You call my name, and I'll come running! I have excellent manners! I'm a polite, well-behaved lady. I'm potty trained! I know where to do my business. I'm not destructive! Your furniture and belongings are safe with me. Now, I do have one teeny-tiny flaw... I've got a few extra pounds to lose. I'm just a little on the fluffy and chunky side, but nothing a few extra walks and a healthy routine can't help with! Honestly, I'm just a really, really good girl. I've got the beautiful Husky looks without all the typical Husky shenanigans! So here's my question... HOW THE HECK AM I STILL HERE?! I've been doing everything right, patiently waiting for someone to notice me. I promise I have so much love to give, and all I need is someone willing to give me a chance. If you've always dreamed of having a Husky but weren't sure you could handle the chaos, I might just be your dream dog! Mountainair, NM Siberian Husky Female, spayed ~4 years old Adoption fee $100
