Notes from Albuquerque Animal Services - Westside

Meet Donut, a 6-year-old spayed female Cattle Dog/Corgi mix who is proofthat some of the best things come in small packages. Donut came to theshelter because her family was moving, and now she's ready for her nextadventure-preferably one that involves a couch, a loving human, and plentyof belly rubs. Donut is very friendly and loves attention. She'll lean right into you forpets and is perfectly happy to park herself at your feet while you go aboutyour business. Of course, if there happens to be a belly available forrubbing, she will immediately roll over and submit her official request. Sheknows sit, takes treats gently, and has the sweet, easygoing personalitythat makes her hard to resist. If you have other dogs she would like to meetthem before going home with them. When she first comes out of her kennel, she's understandably pretty excitedand may pull on the leash a bit because, frankly, freedom is exciting! Onceshe gets moving, she's easy to handle, and her smaller size makes her aconvenient little walking companion. Donut is affectionate, manageable, and clearly believes thatyour feet are an excellent place to spend quality time. She's basically aportable cuddle buddy with a built-in belly-rub button. If you're lookingfor a sweet little dog who will happily stick close by, Donut may just bethe treat you've been waiting for!
