Notes from Father John's Animal House

Meet Rhino!

This BIG pup came to us from a local family who was no longer able to care for him. Rhino loves meeting new people and does not realize how big of a boy he is! He is believed to be a Great Dane/ German Shepherd mix. Currently, Rhino is 3 1/2 years old and he is about 95 pounds, but does need to gain some weight so his ideal weight would look more like 110 pounds! We have noticed that he can be a little selective with other dogs, but in his previous home, he did live with other dogs and overall did well. We would do a dog intro with any dogs in the home to make sure everyone got along! His previous owner did also mention that he would chase the cats in the home but was great with all of the kids!

Think Rhino might be the perfect fit for your home? Fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.fatherjohns.org/adopt. Once submitted, you'll receive an email to reply to in order to schedule an appointment. Appointments are required on Wednesdays and Fridays. Walk-ins are welcome on all other days, though appointments are preferred.
