Notes from Wag On Inn Rescue

Harper is with our rescue partner in Louisiana is available to come to NJ if someone steps up to foster or adopt her.

Her street days are behind her—now Harper just needs a home to call her own.

Less than a year old, this sweet girl is a little mystery mix! Maybe some Rottie, Lab, Shepherd, or Hound, with something smaller sprinkled in. Whatever her family tree looks like, she’s all love.

Harper can be a little shy at first, but she’ll roll over and offer her belly as she warms up. She’s a gentle, submissive girl who loves, loves, LOVES attention. Being loved on? That’s her favorite thing.

Friendly with other dogs

Does well in her crate

Still polishing her leash skills

Ready to trade life as a stray for life as someone’s baby

Harper isn’t looking for anything fancy—just a safe place to land, a little patience, and someone who’ll love her right back.

Harper is spayed and microchipped and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Her adoption donation is $600.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
