Abby is a sweet Rat terrier mix whose owners' illness have made it impossible for them to care for her. Abby is 13 yrs old, but still has a good amount of energy and loves her walks. She loves all people and other dogs, but has had no exposure to kids or cats. Abby could live with another dog and greets strangers with no issues. She is an affectionate cuddly gal who currently is getting only minimal attention and yearns for more! She is housebroken and good in the car, for baths, and on leash. Abby would be an easy sweet addition to almost any household. She will be up to date on vaccines and preventatives before adoption. Abby is available for foster or adoption.
Note: Abby is coming to us through our owner surrender program. They will remain under the care of their owner until they are officially transferred to Wag On Inn to an approved foster or adopter. Abby is neutered, micro-chipped, and will be brought up to date on all vaccines prior to adoption.
Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
