Notes from Jersey Shore Animal Center

This dog is part of our shelter outreach program where we take dogs from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them and cannot guarantee they are housebroken. They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped.

Welcome Ray! We can't wait to find this boy his happily ever after. Ray is a 6 month young Aussie mix, approx 18 lbs and eager to learn! Playtime, walks, cuddle time, sign him up! Ray's a bit nervous as he adjusts to Shelter life but hopefully he won't have to wait long. We are ordering up a home with a fenced in yard and a sign up for obedience classes so he can be even more perfect than he already is. 10/13/26 11:30am

What happens next

  1. Contact Jersey Shore Animal Center using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Jersey Shore Animal Center, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
