Kyle
Hound / Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Mixed · Baby · Male · Medium · Willingboro, NJ
Notes from Burlington County Animal Alliance
Kyle is a sweet, handsome 6-month-old pup who is ready to find his forever family! He weighs just under 30 pounds and may be some type of Heeler mix. Whatever his breed recipe, he sure is cute! Kyle and his siblings were found abandoned on a dirt road in Georgia. They were hungry and hoping someone would help them, and thankfully BCAA was contacted and said YES! Now Kyle is safe in foster care, where he gets plenty of good food, treats, attention, and time to play with his foster dog friends. Kyle is a very sweet boy who can be a little skittish around loud noises, but once he settles in, his personality really starts to shine. And once he’s comfortable, he is a GREAT snuggler! He loves being around other dogs and does a wonderful job respecting their boundaries. He enjoys playing with his foster dog friends but seems to understand when another dog says, “Okay, buddy, that’s enough!”Kyle is also doing fantastic with his crate! He has his own crate at night and has not had a single accident or destroyed his bedding. His foster mom is especially happy that he isn’t a noisy pup. He is still learning all those important puppy skills, including walking nicely on leash, keeping all four paws on the floor when he’s excited for attention, and taking treats gently. Luckily, he LOVES food and treats, so he should be a fun guy to train! Kyle is a typical adolescent pup who will need a family willing to continue his training and help him build confidence as he grows. With some patience, love, and guidance, we’re sure this sweet boy is going to make an amazing adult dog. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate pup who loves his dog friends and enjoys a good cuddle once he gets comfortable, Kyle may be your guy!
