Notes from Burlington County Animal Alliance
Hi! My name is Korbin, and I’m looking for my forever family! My siblings and I were found dumped on a dirt road, and we were so excited when some kind people found us! They started bringing us food, giving us attention, and trying to figure out somewhere safe for us to go. That’s when they contacted BCAA, and thankfully, they said YES! Now we’re safe in foster care, getting plenty of good food, treats, attention, and lots of time to play with other dogs. When I went to the vet, she estimated that I’m about 6 months old, and at almost 38 pounds, I’m the biggest of my siblings! Everyone’s best guess is that I may have some Heeler in my mix, but whatever I am, I’m definitely cute! My foster mom says I’m a typical adolescent puppy who is well on my way to becoming a wonderful adult dog. I’m definitely house trained and great in my crate. My brother and I are in the same foster home, but we have our own crates at night, and our foster mom is so proud of us for keeping them clean and not destroying our bedding. She also really appreciates that we aren’t noisy pups! I’m not what you’d call super high-energy. I’m a typical puppy who enjoys playing, but mostly I just love being around my people. I also get along great with the other dogs in my foster home and love having canine friends to play with. I’m still working on some of those important puppy manners, like walking nicely on a leash, keeping all four paws on the floor when I’m excited to see someone, and taking treats gently. Luckily, I LOVE food and treats, so I’m pretty sure training me is going to be a lot of fun! I’m a sweet, happy young pup who just needs a family willing to continue my training and help me grow into the amazing adult dog I’m meant to be. If you think I might be your guy, please fill out an application at www.bcaaofnj.org. I’d love nothing more than to meet you!
