Kelly
Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Cattle Dog / Mixed · Baby · Female · Medium · Willingboro, NJ
Notes from Burlington County Animal Alliance
Kelly is a sweet, social butterfly who is ready to find her forever family! Kelly and her siblings were found abandoned on a dirt road in Georgia. They were hungry and hoping someone would help them, and thankfully, BCAA was contacted and said YES! Kelly is now safe in foster care, where she gets plenty of good food, treats, attention, and lots of playtime with her foster dog friends. Kelly is about 6 months old and weighs around 25 pounds. We think she may have some type of Heeler or Cattle Dog in her mix, but whatever her breed recipe, she sure is adorable! This girl is an absolute love bug. She loves everyone she meets and was soaking up all the love and attention at our adoption event. She is wonderful with people, including kids, and she absolutely loves other dogs. She has even been around cats and completely ignored them! Kelly is a typical adolescent pup who is still learning all the important things a young dog needs to know. She is working on leash walking, learning not to jump up when she gets excited for attention, and practicing taking treats gently. Luckily, she LOVES food and treats, which should make training a whole lot easier. She also loves getting outside to play with the other foster dogs. Kelly isn’t just cute — she’s sweet, affectionate, social, and so ready to be someone’s best friend. She loves attention, gives great cuddles, and is the kind of pup who makes friends wherever she goes. Kelly will need a family who is ready to continue her training and help her grow into the wonderful adult dog she’s destined to be. Could Kelly be your girl?
