Mikey- Giant lap dog
Great Pyrenees / Mixed (medium coat) · Young (1 year) · Male · Large · Oakhurst, NJ
Notes from Wag On Inn Rescue
Mikey is a beautiful boy who is looking for a new home. He is with our rescue partner in Louisiana and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter.
Big dog. Bigger heart. Absolutely no idea he isn’t lap-sized.
Meet Mikey, a Pyrenees mix surrendered because his owners were “moving.” And while we wish his story had started differently, we’re so glad he’s finally getting the care he needed. He arrived with terrible flea allergies, but with lots of love and medication, his hair is already growing back. This boy is going to be one handsome dude!
Mikey is a gentle giant who gives the BEST hugs and believes your lap is exactly where he belongs. He’s great with kids and other dogs, and cats (he lets the climb all over him), rides well in the car, and loves to run and play.
Now all he needs is the right family to love him as much as he’ll love them. This boy will fit right in to any home. If your home has room for a big, sweet boy—and your lap can handle a little overflow—Mikey might be your guy.
Mikey
is neutered
,
microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. He tested negative for heartworm. His adoption donation is $500.
Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these animal have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
