Howzer- ready for his happily ever after
American Staffordshire Terrier / American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (medium coat) · Young (1 year) · Male · Large · Oakhurst, NJ
Notes from Wag On Inn Rescue
Howzer is with our partner rescue in LA and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter
Howzer was found badly injured beneath someone’s home—broken, hurting, and in unimaginable pain. But even then, this brave pittie mix never growled or gave up. He seemed to know the people who found him were there to help.
After surgery, rest, and so much love, Howzer is nearly healed and working hard to strengthen his back leg. Now he’s ready for the life he’s always deserved: a family, a soft bed, dog friends to play with, and treats—because snacks are absolutely the way to this sweet boy’s heart.
Howzer loves other dogs, loves to play, and loves with his whole heart. He survived the hard part. Let’s find him the beautiful forever home waiting on the other side.
Howzer is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. He has been neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $500.
Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
