Notes from Critter Companion Rescue

**Meet Odin (Odie for short)!** Our handsome Great Pyr/Golden Retriever mix boy who was born on **September 25, 2024** which makes him just now 2 years old. At 80 pounds this boy is not only handsome but also a great Leader in his own mind. He is everything people love about the breeds—loyal, intelligent, devoted, and deeply connected to his owner and his favorite place is right by his people, whether he's joining you on an outdoor adventure or relaxing nearby after a long day.

Odie is looking for a home that can provide strong, consistent leadership (to keep his alpha nature in check), a large securely fenced yard, and plenty of opportunities to explore and enjoy life. He thrives when he's included as part of the family and forms strong bonds with those he loves. He gets along well with other dogs and carries himself with a calm, confident presence that naturally makes him a leader among his canine friends. Beneath his majestic size is a playful, affectionate soul who simply wants to love and be loved. There are some training tips that we will share that will keep Odin from picking a person and "owning" them in the family. We want him to feel that he belongs to everyone in the family and not guard his "one and only" person. Odin has so much heart to give and is ready to find the forever family he's been waiting for. If you're familiar with and appreciate the Great Pyrenees breed, Odie could be the loyal best friend and faithful companion you've been searching for. **Could Odie be the missing piece of your family?** Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com
