Gibson- sidekick material
Rat Terrier / Mixed (short coat) · Adult (4 years 1 month) · Male · Medium · Oakhurst, NJ
Notes from Wag On Inn Rescue
Gibson is a fun boy who is looking for a new home. He is with our rescue partner in Louisiana and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter.
Meet Gibson — your future little sidekick with a big personality!
Gibson and his buddy Bramble were found together as strays, but this sweet boy is more than ready to trade his wandering days for a forever home of his own.
He may take a minute to feel comfortable with new people, but once you’re in his circle, Gibson is outgoing, affectionate, and full of fun. He loves yard time, enjoys a good walk on leash, and has the perfect daily routine: zoomies first, nap time immediately after. Honestly, he’s got life figured out.
Gibson is believed to be a Jack Russell Terrier mix, is house-trained, friendly, and has no food or toy aggression. He’s a genuinely good boy looking for someone to give him the safe, loving home he deserves.
If you’re looking for a compact adventure buddy, yard-zoomie specialist, and professional nap companion, Gibson may be your guy.
Gibson is neutered, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. He
tested positive
for heartworm and will need treatment when he comes to NJ, this will require 2 trips to our vet in Barnegat
. His adoption donation is $500.
Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these animal have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
